Tales of the Rampant Coyote: Speaking of fixed, the big news on the indie game development front is that in light of some of the issues and bugs folks were having with Torque 2D Game Builder with the last release candidate, GarageGames decided to delay the release of the final version AND extend the Early Adopter pricing a few days. While I know this was a painful decision for GarageGames and the overworked, underpaid TGB dev team over there, the response amongst the community has been very positive, and GG team members have stated that they felt strongly that this was THE RIGHT THING TO DO. The actual work is done by the very attractive and super nice Lisa, who has cured me of my loathing of dentist offices.Plus she always gives me a loot bag of floss, toothbrushes, and other dental goodies. If you're looking for a dentist in Toronto and are willing to pay a small premium, this is the place to go.
[Videolamer.com] videolamer.com » Blog Archive » AI woes: If the goal of the modern developer is to make a game that exists in a modern setting (or a plausible Sci fi/fantasy setting), then good AI should enhance the feeling of immersion, and more importantly the believability of the game world. Suspension of disbelief won’t work forever if the industry continues this trend where beautiful worlds are populated by the equivalent of Disney Animatronics.
[Blogs.intellext.com] Dr. Jay's Blog: The search for The Answer: To your specific question about search engines, snippets, and relevance, I think one important tip is to envision the web page or document that would contain the answer and then think of what terms would be used in that document and not any other.
